Cold and flu help is here!

COLD/FLU MINI USER GUIDE

Thieves - this is your first line of defense and offense. If you're not sick, you can dilute by about half and put on the bottom of your feet twice a day to boost immunity. The grownups here take it in a capsule. If you ARE sick, do the feet as above but do it every couple of hours and diffuse at least three times a day. You can also put a drop in some honey and swallow - this works awesome for a sore throat (adding lemon as well helps with the taste). If you have capsules, put a few drops in capsule and take it that way.

Purification - you can rub this undiluted on your neck - it really helps with drainage and sore throats. Also great for ear infections - put a little on a cotton ball and rub around outside of ear. You can rest the cotton ball outside of ear while sleeping for added impact. Never put oils directly in your ears!

Peppermint - This one is great for congestion and fever. For congestion, dilute 4 to 1 and rub over sinuses and chest. For fever dilute by about half and you can put on back of neck, down spine, and armpits, behind knees, around navel etc. Continue to repeat every 15 to 30 minutes or so until fever breaks. For kids 18 months or less, I would recommend Lavender for fever instead of Peppermint and RC for congestion.

Peace & Calming - this can be rubbed on the chest or diffused to help with a hacking cough. If you have RC, that is better. Use it the same way.

Lemon - Lemon can also be diffused to help a cough. Put a drop or two in water and drink several times a day for an immunity boost. This can also be used behind ears and down jawline to lymph nodes to help with drainage.

Lavender - great for congestion - rub it neat (undiluted) on your sinuses or the bottom of your toes (reflex points for your sinus areas)

Valor & Pan Away - these two are great for body aches and pains associated with the flu. Dilute by about half and rub on painful areas. Top it off with peppermint for added impact.

There are also great oils outside of the starter kit I would recommend for fighting sickness as well. RC and DiGize will always be on my oil bag….and probably oregano too since it’s needed for the “antibiotic bomb”.

Yes, you may smell a little earthy after all this, but I will totally take it. Happy oiling!
