There is a big difference on how an oily person and non oily person live. So I’m going to compare a day in the life, to give you an idea of how easy and toxic free you can be!!!
Oily- You wake up in the morning and add 2 drops of lemon to water, great detox and wake up in the morning drink!
Non oily- You make a cup of coffee to wake up and get going.
Oily- You add lemon & peppermint to the diffuser to boost your mood and your family’s mood in the morning
Non oily- You deal with the crabbies, but hey you had a coffee so you at least have the energy to deal with it.
Oily- You add honey to your face with a drop of lavender to wash your face before hopping in the shower.
Non oily- You use another expensive soap and deal with super dry skin after you wash your face.
Oily- You hop out of the shower and add frankincense & lemon to jojoba oil to use as a moisturizer, and fight wrinkles and acne! Wow your skin feels so light and soft!
Non oily- You use a chemical filled moisturizer to fight wrinkles, but can’t figure out why your face keeps breaking out…
Oily- All this cold weather is making your knee ache, so you grab your pain cream of coconut oil, peppermint, pan away, lemongrass & valor and add it to your knee. A few minutes later, aaaah relief, and hey it smells good to.
Non oily- You take an Advil and add some stinky Ben Gay to your knee. It takes awhile but you get some relief.
Oily- Ouch paper cut! You grab lavender for relief and to help heal, the sting goes away.
Non oily- You grab an antibiotic ointment with who knows what in it to help heal
Oily- What a day! Work is busy, your calendar is full, you have a lot on your plate and you are stressed out! You add some stress away to the back of your neck and wrists and then breathe it in and relax. A few minutes later you feel like you can handle it all and the stress is melting away…
Non oily- Oh boy, you are stressed, you just want to scream. Maybe you should go get some medication for all that stress you are feeling as it just seems to get worse and worse.
Oily- Mid day slump! You grab the peppermint and add a drop to hand, cut it and sniff. Instant happy boost!!!
Non oily- Time for a caffeine drink!
Oily- Headache! Why now? You grab the peppermint and rub it on your temples, headache gone in a few minutes, and hey, you feel refreshed as well!
Non oily- You grab more Advil. 20 minutes or so later the headache is better, but now your stomach hurts
Oily- Oh boy, you shouldn’t have ate so much at dinner, now you have a big of heartburn. You add 2 drops of lemon and 1 drop of peppermint to a glass of water. Instant relief!
Non oily- Grab the Tums and take 2. No relief. Grab 2 more. Now you feel a little better.
Oily- The kids are fighting and don’t want to do their homework. You diffuse some stress away and everyone sits down and gets their homework done, and hey look at all those good moods going around!
Non oily- Well now what? Yell? Melt down? What to do, what to do?
Oily- Time for the kids to go to bed! You add a little peace & calming on their wrists and behind their ears. Off they go to bed, no fights, and they are asleep in 5 minutes.
Non oily- You send the kids to bed. 5 minutes later they need a drink of water. 5 minutes after that they need to go to the bathroom. 5 minutes after that they need another glass of water. 30 minutes later you are stressed out and telling them to just go to bed! 10 minutes after that they are finally asleep.
Oily- Time for you to go to bed. You add a bit of cedar wood to your wrists and behind the ears and lay down to read. 5 minutes later your book is hitting you in the face. Whooops! Good night! Nothing wakes you during the night, not your husband’s snoring, or the kid that got up to go to the bathroom, or the sounds of the house settling during the night. You wake up refreshed!
Non oily- You can’t fall asleep. You wake up to your husband snoring, and to the little sounds in the night. You do fall back asleep, but it takes 15 minutes each time. You wake up feeling tired, and like you didn’t sleep at all during the night. Maybe tonight you think you will take a sleep aid as you haven’t slept well in a long time.
So which life seems more appealing to you?
I chose the oily life!
